Birch Bender's Protein Pancake & Waffle Mix

How to Make

Ingredients
1 1/2 cups
Birch Benders Protein Pancake and Waffle Mix

Dill Spears
1 cup
Buttermilk
1/2 gallon
Peanut Oil
1/2 cup
Mayonaise
1/4 cup
Buttermilk
1 tbsp
Chopped Chives
1 tbsp
Chopped Dill
1 tsp
Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp
Cayenne
Salt and Pepper, to taste
Directions
  1. First, make the ranch dressing by whisking together ingredients. Refrigerate at least one hour. Keeps for up to 5 days.
  2. In a heavy-bottomed sauce pan or dutch oven, heat oil to 375°. Maintain a constant temperature throughout frying for even browning.
  3. Pat dry pickle spears using a paper towel.
  4. Place buttermilk and Birch Benders Protein Pancake mix into separate shallow dishes.
  5. Dip pickles in buttermilk, then pancake mix, and repeat once before carefully placing in frying oil.
  6. Fry about 2 minutes, remove with tongs or spider to a paper-towel lined plate to let cool a few moments.
