Gingerbread Pancakes

How to Make

Ingredients
1 pouch
Birch Benders Organic Classic Pancake Mix
2 1/3 Cups
water
4 tsp
ground cinnamon
2 tsp
ground ginger
1 tsp
ground cloves
1/2 tsp
ground cardamom
1/2 tsp
ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp
salt
1 1/2 tsp
light brown sugar, packed
To taste
butter and maple syrup
Directions
  1. Heat your pan over medium-high heat or turn your electric griddle to 375°F. Lightly oil the pan or griddle
  2. Combine cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, cardamom, and salt. Add light brown sugar and mix well until there are no lumps.
  3. Add a pouch of Birch Benders Organic Classic Pancake & Waffle Mix and water and mix. Don’t over mix, as a thick batter will result in fluffy pancakes.
  4. Use a 1/2 measuring cup to scoop and pour the batter onto the preheated pan and let cook per package instructions.
  5. Enjoy hot topped with syrup and butter to taste.
