Gingerbread Pancakes

How to Make

1 pouch
Birch Benders Organic Classic Pancake & Waffle Mix, made to package instructions
4 tsp
ground cinnamon
2 tsp
ground ginger
1 tsp
ground cloves
1/2 tsp
ground cardamom
1/2 tsp
ground nutmeg
1/4 tsp
1 1/2 tsp
light brown sugar, packed
To taste
To taste
maple syrup
  1. Preheat pan on medium heat.
  2. Combine cinnamon, ginger, cloves, nutmeg, cardamom, and salt. Add light brown sugar and mix well until there are no lumps.
  3. Add a pouch of Birch Benders Organic Classic Pancake & Waffle Mix, or if you like a stronger gingerbread flavor, add half a pouch.
  4. Add water until you have a thick batter. Don’t over mix, as a thick batter will result in fluffy pancakes.
  5. Use a 1/2 measuring cup to scoop and pour the batter onto the preheated pan and let cook per package instructions.
  6. Enjoy piping hot topped with syrup and butter to taste.
