- Preheat waffle iron, and lightly grease with vegetable oil.
- Combine all ingredients, save cheese, in a bowl.
- Cook waffles according to your waffle maker’s directions, remove waffles and reduce heat.
- Separate waffles into 4 squares.
- Place 2 squares back into waffle maker, top with cheese and the other two waffle squares.
- Close waffle maker and cook until cheese is melted, about 3 minutes.
- Enjoy immediately.
