Waffle Confetti Cake with Buttercream Frosting
How to Make
Birch Benders Organic Confetti Pancake & Waffle Mix
oil (of your choosing)
unsalted butter, softened
1 1/2 tsp
confectioners' sugar, sifted
For Waffle Cake Layers:
Preheat waffle iron.
Make the entire bag by combining mix with 2 1/4 cups of water and 3 tablespoons of oil.
Pour waffle batter onto waffle iron and cook until golden brown (time will vary by appliance).
For Buttercream Frosting:
Cream room temperature butter with a mixer until smooth and fluffy. Gradually beat in confectioners’ sugar until fully incorporated. Beat in vanilla extract.
Pour in milk and beat for an additional 3 to 4 minutes.
Alternate layers of waffle and frosting, then top waffle cake with remaining frosting.
Optional: Top with additional sprinkles and candles to celebrate!
