Classic Sugar Cookies

How to Make

2 cups
Birch Benders Classic Recipe Pancake and Waffle Mix
3/4 cup
1/2 cup
Eggs large
1 tsp
Vanilla Extract
1 cup
White Frosting
Piping Bag with No. 2 Tip
Sprinkles of your choosing
  1. Cream together cold butter and sugar before adding eggs and vanilla extract.
  2. Stir in Birch Benders, 1 cup at a time.
  3. Place dough on a clean surface dusted with powdered sugar, roll into a log.
  4. Wrap log with plastic wrap, refrigerate at least two hours, or overnight.
  5. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  6. Remove dough from refrigerate, unwrap, and slice into 1/4 inch rounds. Alternatively, roll out and use cookie cutters if desired. Be sure your kitchen is quite cool for this process.
  7. Place rounds 2 to 3 inches apart on baking sheet, bake 8-10 minutes until lightly golden.
  8. Let cool completely before decorating with frosting and sprinkles.
